Celebrating its 25th Anniversary season at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, McCoy Rigby Entertainment (MRE), is one of the world’s premier theatrical production companies. Headed by Executive Producers, Tom McCoy and Cathy Rigby, MRE has produced over one hundred musicals, plays, and concerts featuring some of the biggest stars in the industry today. In addition, MRE has launched several Emmy Award- winning and Tony Award-nominated Broadway, international, and national touring productions including: Peter Pan, Seussical the Musical, and Annie Get Your Gun, all starring Cathy Rigby; Frank Wildhorn’s Jekyll and Hyde starring American Idol contender and Tony Award nominee Constandne Maroulis along with Grammy Award nominee and R&B superstar Deborah Cox; Jesus Christ Superstar starring Carl Anderson and Sebasdan Bach; Camelot starring Michael York and Lou Diamond Phillips and Happy Days written by Gary Marshall and Paul Williams.
Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby has made four stops on Broadway and received four Tony Award nominations including Best Revival of a Musical and Best Actress in a Musical. The A&E TV network premiere of “Peter Pan,” starring Cathy Rigby, received one Emmy Award and four Emmy Award nominations. MRE’s other credits include numerous award-winning documentaries and stadium events.
Cathy Rigby McCoy

During her gymnastics career, Cathy won numerous international medals, and in 1998, she was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame. After intense voice and theatrical training, she embarked on a new career in performing arts. National and regional tour credits include: Annie Get Your Gun, Meet Me In St. Louis, South Pacific, Paint Your Wagon, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Silvia, and Steel Magnolias. On Broadway, she starred as the title role in Peter Pan in 1991 and 1998, and in Seussical the Musical as Cat-In-The-Hat in 2002. In 1991, Cathy was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for Peter Pan on Broadway. Cathy and husband, Tom McCoy, are Executive Producers of the McCoy Rigby Entertainment Series at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts in La Mirada, California. There, they have successfully produced 25 seasons, and have launched several national touring productions.
Cathy and Tom own and operate the McCoy Rigby Conservatory of the Arts in Yorba Linda, Calif. After two Olympics, a Broadway career, a television career, 18 years as a sports commentator, 4 kids, 7 grandchildren and 40 years of marriage to the same man… Cathy is simply filled with gratitude for family, friends and of course the City of La Mirada for their unending support and generosity.

Lindsay has worked in casting for almost 10 years with credits including The Office! A Musical Parody (Off-Broadway, 1st National), Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical (Off-Broadway, 1st National, 2nd National, Grand Ole Opry), Friends! A Musical Parody (1st National), The Simon & Garfunkel Story (1st National, 2nd National), Musical Thrones: A Parody of Ice & Fire (1st National), Peter Pan (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), Greater Tuna (National Tour), multiple stage productions, tours and readings for McCoy Rigby Entertainment and is mcurrently the resident casting director at CCAE Theatricals.Lindsay also has been a social media manager for over 10 years, specializing in account management and content creation for artistis, small businesses and arts-based organizations. Past clients include Kristin Chenoweth’s Broadway Bootcamp, Norm Lewis, College Audition Pros, York College, The Imagination Machine and McCoy Rigby Arts.
And, she’s a working improv comedian and a pretty cool mom.

Marissa Herrera began her professional career as an artist at the age of five, performing with the Ballet Folklorico de Aztlan Dance Company. As an performer, Marissa’s feature credits have included Romeo & Juliet-Zoot Suit Style with Tony Plana’s East L.A. Classic Theatre; Selena Forever; Luis Avalos’ Paquitos’ Christmas; as Lupe Reyna in the 25th anniversary tour of Luis Valdez’ Zoot Suit, with El Teatro Campesino; as Anita in the Centennial of The Mission Play; and as the associate director/choreographer of the Tony Award winning musical, In The Heights, at The Lewis Family Playhouse and The Candlelight Pavilion. Her work at The Candlelight Pavilion won her the IETL Award for Best Choreography. Marissa was the Co-director/ Choreographer for In the Heights at The La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts. Select film and television credits have include: Something Lost, Rapunzel Jackson, Bones (FOX), and a principal dancing role in Sony Pictures’ You Got Served. Marissa has experienced a successful career dancing and choreographing for various artists in the music industry, including Grammy Award winning artist, Macy Gray, as choreographer and creative advisor.In 2016, Marissa launched De Mi Alma Productions to share the stories of the American Latino experience by creating and producing original content for stage, TV, and film and lead professional development and consulting in creating non-racist and equitable spaces in the Arts. Marissa is an active member of NALIP and the National Hispanic Media Coalition Action Committee, where in 2018 she was one of only two Latina scene directors for the 2018 Latino Industry Scene Showcase. Marissa is also a leader in Arts Education. She is the 2018 recipient of the Jubilee Foundation Fellowship Award and is the Co-Founder/Artistic Director of 4CLAB, “providing opportunities for young creative visionaries to share their stories through artistic expression.” Marissa firmly believes in using art as a tool to empower youth and nurture young artists to build personal, artistic, and global relationships. She developed the Dance Choreography and Production Program at Inner-City Arts in the Skid Row section of Los Angeles and is also the co-founder of The Heart and Soul Collective—a cross-discipline of young artists using their art to empower personal and social transformation.
With her ability to create for diverse audiences, experience working with youth in arts education, and over two decades of professional experience, Marissa firmly believes her best work is still to come.
